SPMU Lip Removal

The process of laser lip blush tattoo removal involves breaking down unwanted pigments to allow the body to eliminate them. A laser beam targets the pigment, penetrating the skin and breaking down the molecules into smaller particles.

Although each treatment plan is different, we use the same refined process to maximize the results of our Laser Semi-Permanent Makeup Removal here at CLINIC EIGHTY SIX. With this in mind, when booking your treatment with us, here is what to you can expect:

The Process

01

Protective Equipment

If you are having your eyebrows removed, you will be given protective glasses to wear for the duration of your session.

02

Cleanse Area

The treatment area will be thoroughly cleaned. This ensures that your laser specialists can accurately see the pigment underneath the skin.

03

Removal Starts

Your laser specialist will begin the removal process. At this stage, you will feel a slight sensation, similar to being flicked with an elastic band; however, as the treatment area is small, this will be for a minimal time.

04

Soothe & Protect

Once the entire tattoo has been treated, your laser specialist will apply a cream to the treatment area to soothe and protect the skin. You will then be given full aftercare advice on how to speed up the healing process.

IMPORTANT NOTE

There is a possibility for the natural hair pigment to be removed during the laser session; therefore, the hair will become lighter. This is a temporary change, and the colour will revert back to normal in time.

Whilst the procedure doesn’t always cause hair loss, in the event that there is hair loss, this will be temporary, and the hair will regrow back as normal.

CONSULTATION

Before we start the treatment, a consultation will always be provided. We will discuss your full medical history and complete a Fitzpatrick Skin Quiz to determine your skin type.

TREATMENT

A patch test will be completed before the start of your removal journey. This is to ensure that you do not encounter any allergic reactions or side effects. If your patch test is successful, then your practitioner will start your treatment.

AFTERCARE

After each treatment, it is important that you follow a strict aftercare routine. This is to ensure that your skin does not suffer with infections, irritation and hyperpigmentation. Your practitioner will discuss the best aftercare specialised for you and your skin.
